About Hotel Cabin
Hotel Cabin is a budget hotel off of Faxaflói Bay, and 20 minutes from Reykjavik town centre. Although it caters to everyone, it is a favourite of schools and other groups.
The ensuite rooms are standard with showers, deluxe with bath tubs and refrigerators, and superior with coffee/tea, showers, and mountain and sea views. Wi-Fi is at a charge in the standard and deluxe rooms, but free in the superior ones. TVs are in all of the rooms.
Parking is free. Hotel Cabin has a gift shop and conference/meeting/event facilities. There is a car rental service, as well as expeditions through the region.
The buffet breakfast is complementary. Saladbar restaurant serves hot and cold lunch and dinner buffets. A bar and lounge are also onsite.
Laugardalur pool is less than half a mile by car. Perlan and Kringlan shopping are six minutes by car, or 30 minutes by foot.

Airport shuttles and tour buses go to and from this hotel, so it's easy to travel between destinations. Public pools, a huge attraction in the region, are near by, and the excursions that Cabin partners with also give you a chance to see much of the area.
