Positive Reviews
positive:
Central location couldn't be better
A significant number of visitors have raved about this hotel's location, mostly because it is about as central as you can get. Indeed, having all the major train, tram and bus transit points literally just across the street makes getting around this city a veritable breeze. Being able to walk to the landmark lake and have immediate access to the city's best dining and shopping districts tops things off perfectly.

It has been noted that the guys and gals who keep things ticking over at his hotel are a very courteous and cordial bunch. A significant number of guests singled out the personable and attentive reception team for particular praise.
positive:

Negative Reviews
negative:
Property could use a revamp
Numerous guests have agreed that, whilst this hotel does retain a degree of character, it would benefit greatly from a comprehensive refurb. Worn furnishings, grubby bathrooms and gloomy hallways are the most frequently highlighted areas in need of attention.
negative:
Lack of air-conditioning can be an issue
Despite what some people may think, things can get pretty sticky and muggy in Geneva during the warmer months. Unsurprisingly, very few guests staying here in the summer have appreciated the lack of any effective air-conditioning in the guest rooms.
negative:
Street noise is almost inescapable
Many travellers have observed that many of the rooms here cannot really escape the street noise generated by the near-constant flow of people and traffic on the ever-busy Place de Cornavin. Evidently, accommodations at the front of the property are the most prone to disturbances.
