About The Bay
Set in a traditional 19th century inn known for its real ale, The Bay is just a three-minute wander from the beach in Pevensey Bay, where William the Conqueror famously first landed on the English south coast.
Most of the eleven bright guest rooms come with private en-suite bathrooms, although a couple have shared facilities. All, however, feature a TV, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Bay provides complimentary Wi-Fi and free parking is available.
Guests can order a full English breakfast for a supplement and sample some typical British specialities in the restaurant. The bar area includes a pool table and often hosts live entertainment.
The hotel is approximately two kilometres from Pevensey Castle. Eastbourne’s Sovereign Harbour is four kilometres away. Those using public transport will find Pevensey Bay Railway Station just one kilometre away.
