Woodlands Hotel & Leisure Centre (Waterford, Ireland)

This is a great hotel to stay at if you're visiting nearby Waterford. You're just 15 minutes from city centre as well as the hospital and a beach. There is a bus stop just across the road and buses go into town every 10 minutes or so.

The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful, very willing to chat and visit. They go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure you enjoy your stay to the fullest.

Guests say the gym has a good amount of weight lifting equipment, and the pool is large enough to swim lengths.

Guests say rooms feel a bit date and the hotel in general needs an overhaul. More attention to detail is needed like cleaning cobwebs, replacing light bulbs, and cleaning carpets. A little TLC would go a long way.

This hotel has a function room which can become quite noisy with voices and music playing, especially in the evenings, making it difficult to get a restful night's sleep. Walls between rooms are also quite thin and you can hear everything your neighbour does, including flushing the toilet.

Rooms do not offer air conditioning and can become extremely hot at night, especially during the summer time, making sleep rather uncomfortable.
