positive:
Variety of food
Whether you like fish and chips, or perfectly fine dining, the choice is yours. The food at this hotel has gained a very good reputation for being fairly fast and incredibly well prepared and presented.
positive:
Revitalizing shower
If you love to start your day with a great shower, this one will do the trick. Guests have enjoyed the rain shower heads, and the even water temperature, and do tend to stay in longer than necessary. Regardless, most feel refreshed and ready for the day.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some climate control problems
Some guests complained that the temperature of the rooms was way too cold for them. Even after maintenance was called to attend to the issue, the radiator did not heat the room adequately.
negative:
Great food, not enough waiters
Although the food at the on-site restaurant at Oak Wood Arms is quite classy, visitors have complained that there are not enough waiters to attend to all the guests. It would seem as if they are understaffed and end up having too much on their plate for one night.
negative:
Some saggy beds
While a few guests did say that the beds were quite comfortable, others felt that they sagged down too much in the middle, and could do with being replaced. If you end up in one of these rooms, ask the friendly staff for an upgraded room.
