It is only a couple of miles from the centre of Woodbridge and its Market Hill, and within 20 minutes drive of the county town of Ipswich. Trains from London Liverpool Street stop at both Ipswich and Woodbridge, taking just over the hour to reach Ipswich. The golf course adjoining Seckford Hall Hotel is just up the road, with the heathland and challenging Woodbridge and Ipswich Golf Courses about 15 minutes drive away. The National Trust's Sutton Hoo just outside Woodbridge is a must see attraction for every visitor, along with Framlingham and Orford Castle, and the delights of the seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh.
