About The Airds Hotel and Restaurant
For those looking to get a solid night’s sleep, it s recommended that they reserve rooms on the west side, away from the traffic. Unfortunately, the air conditioning units, as well as the elevator, tend to belt out rather a lot of noise, and guests may find these disturbances to be too much while trying to sleep.
Each of the traditionally decorated rooms feature a private bathroom with a shower and bathtub. Other in-room amenities include a TV and DVD player, satellite channels and a CD player. An iPod docking station is also one of the features included in each room.
At The Airds Hotel and Restaurant Hotel, guests will have access to a shared lounge, luggage storage, bicycle hire, laundry services, organised activities, a hotel safe, a porter service, non-smoking rooms, and a 24-hour front desk.
Large log fires and sophisticated décor await guests in the onsite restaurant. A seasonal menu is offered with the freshest of locally sourced products. A seven course tasting menu is on special offer, which can be paired with a selection of wines.
Caslte Stalker is a seven-minute drive away, and Oban is located 19 miles away. Ben Nevis is just less than 30 miles away, and the Fort William Golf Club is a 50-minute car journey.

positive:
Well looked after guests.
Each and every guest that steps through the front doors is well looked after, provided with the greatest hospitality, and therefore cannot wait to return. The owners see to the entirety of one's stay, including comfortable bedding, and delicious food in the restaurant.
positive:
Beautiful inside and out.
The well decorated rooms at Airds, as well as the surrounding grounds see to it that guests are surrounded with beauty at all times. The rooms are tastefully decorated, featuring unique pieces too.
positive:
Log fires, cozy lounge.
For those looking for a lazy getaway where they want to do little more than lie about, relaxing, catching up on lost sleep, then Airds provides the perfect spot to do it, especially during the cold of Winter. The large log fires in the lounge offer the perfect spot to curl up with a book, and laze the day away.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A little on the expensive side.
Guests have found that although the service is top notch, and that along with everything included, the price is a little on the higher side. This place is not for those looking for a budget holiday getaway.
negative:
A few bugs as company.
With it's rather remote location, guests will find that there may be more than one or two bugs in their rooms. If guests find they have any problems with such things, like getting rid of the critters, calling on staff to assist is no big task.
negative:
Restaurant staff require training.
The staff in the restaurant seem as if they know little about what is on offer on the menu. Guests may find the service helpful and quick, but the staff could be better trained with regards to their knowledge of what food they are serving.
