Negative Reviews
negative:
A bit dated all round.
Those who stayed here were generally in agreement that the hotel decor was dated, and could use freshening up, or at least a fresh lick of paint. The bar was thought to be looking particularly tired, and the occasional room maintenance issue was also encountered.
negative:
Wi-Fi only in public areas.
A handful of Royal Goat guests were unhappy to find that Wi-Fi was not available in the rooms, and only accessible in public areas. However, this did not seem to be an issue for the vast majority of people.
negative:
Bar and food service closed early.
The bar and food service here reportedly closes rather early, so to avoid disappointment, make sure you check the opening times in advance if you are arriving late and are in need of a bite to eat, or a nightcap refreshment.
