The four-star Rila is the most impressive hotel in Borovets built by a French construction company in the 1980s based on the style and design of the French Alpine resort Les Arcs. Since its complete renovation in 2017-19, the Rila Hotel has been dubbed “the new face” of the Borovets Resort. It has an excellent location as a ski-in/ski-out hotel - at the very bottom of the ski runs, 50 meters from the quad chair lift and 200 meters from the Gondola lift. The Rila provides a perfect holiday for every age and every season, with diverse opportunities for sports, relaxing activities, sightseeing and hiking, as well as cultural programs and daily kids’ animation. For nature lovers the hotel provides expert mountain guides and select hiking trips, tailored to the individual tourist’s ability.
