Situated eight miles northeast of the city, Gold Coast Malacca is a self-catering resort complex attached to an extensive water park. Apartments range in size from one to three bedrooms. They are spacious, with cooling tiled floors, separate sleeping and living areas, flat-screen TVs and fully equipped kitchens that allow guests to prepare their home-cooked favourites. The hotel features multilingual reception staff, free on-site parking, and Wi-Fi in public areas. The main attraction however, is the giant water park. There are slides to suit all ages and it provides a great day out for the whole family. There are several dining options on-site, ranging from Admiral Cheng Ho, a sophisticated Chinese restaurant, to poolside dining and drinking on the terrace. If the kids start to tire of the water park, a good idea may be to head to the Malacca Zoo, which protects the endangered Sumatran rhinoceros and other species. It is three miles north of Gold Coast Malacca.
