Everyone knows that the ideal time of year to visit Malta is during the summer. The downside to summers on an equatorial island is the possibility of some serious heat. Fortunately, the hotel is prepared for such eventualities. To stay comfortable, you can relax indoors in an air conditioned room or take a dip in the rooftop pool.

When you stay at the hotel, you’ll be right in the midst of lively Bugibba. As an added bonus, you’ll also be able to see the beach from your hotel, which means it’s just a short walk away. Some prior visitors to the hotel have mentioned that the wireless broadband, while free, doesn’t have a particularly strong signal. Your best bet, aside from bringing a mobile hotspot, is to book a room close to the router (likely in the lobby).

Despite its trendy location, the hotel is in an older building and could use a little bit of a renovation to keep it up to date. Former guests have mentioned troubles with old or uncomfortable pillows and bedding, worn furniture and fixtures and poor soundproofing.

If you plan on saving money by buying meals from the local market or keeping a stash of cold ale on hand, your smart budgeting may end up costing you almost as much. While rooms at the Relax Inn Hotel come with a minifridge and a safe, using them also comes with a surcharge.
