Nordens Ark is a private non-profit foundation that works to ensure endangered animals have a future. Nordens Ark is situated on Åby manor in Bohus county on the westcoast of Sweden. At the hotel you'll enjoy cosy beds and the price includes a tasty breakfast buffet, as well as entry to the park on both arrival and departure days. The hotel is in a lovely location, near to both animals and nature. We have single rooms, double rooms and family rooms and also rooms for disabled people. An additional bed or a cot can be provided. Just a stone’s throw from the hotel, you can swim in the fjord. In the evening, you can take a walk in our Ecopark (there are maps at the hotel) or wander along the Soteleden trail. There are fine and varied walks along the Åby fjord and in the woods. On the manor’s lands you’ll find, among other things, Åbyhällen, one of the largest rock carvings in Bohus county, as well as Glose altar and the Nycander grave.
