Some felt they were more recently renovated than others. Most found them to be clean and comfortable with refrigerators, microwaves and good air conditioning. Water pressure is excellent in the showers and beds are very cozy.
This is an obviously aging property with maintenance issues and dated furnishings. Trash on grounds is not removed quickly. Cracks in basins/tubs and holes in walls are shabbily repaired or simply covered with paint. Television remotes are missing or without working batteries. Safes won't open, microwaves won't work and there is no clock. Rooms reek of smoke when they're sold as "non-smoking" rooms. Carpets need cleaning and the place overall needs a good scrub and dusting. Outlets are hanging out. Some rooms have more issues than others - the friendly maintenance staff won't mind trying to help out if they can.
It isn't uncommon for guests to be given keys that don't work, or are giving you access to a room already occupied by another guest..who will not be amused when you open their door. In addition, take great care to ensure all receipts possible are printed and produced at time of check-in; some guests were denied discounts they believed they had secured.
