The hotel is surrounded by acres of private grounds with a horse-paddock and chickens that roam freely. There is a lovely water feature at the back of the Castle and the surrounding woodland provide a relaxing and picturesque backdrop. This rural idyll suited many guests who appreciated to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
