Positive Reviews
positive:
Incredible rooftop pool terrace
This was far and away the feature of the hotel that guests most enjoyed. Again and again they would mention how wonderful it was to be able to return to the hotel in the afternoon, and head straight up to the roof terrace to toast the sunset.
positive:
Decent central location
Guests seemed to like the location of the hotel for all sorts of reasons. Firstly, they liked that they were within reasonable walking distance of Patong Beach, which after all was a major reason they had come to Thailand. Secondly, they felt the hotel was in a great spot for nightlife. Close enough that they could easily walk there, but not so close that they had to contend with the noise and disturbances.
positive:
Good value for money
While guests certainly didn't think that the room-rate was low, they did feel that the hotel delivered not only what it had promised, but maybe a little bit more. As a result, many stated that they received excellent value for money.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Poor staff service levels
This was a difficult one to gauge. There certainly were plenty of positive comments made about the staff, but several guests seemed to have very bad interactions with staff indeed. They described them as not merely disengaged, but actively rude.
negative:
Not enough sun loungers
While guests absolutely loved the rooftop infinity pool and its terrace, it was mentioned that there was only so much space up there for sun loungers. The limited number meant there was really no chance that all those who wanted one would be able to find a free one.
negative:
Very uncomfortable beds
There were a simply incredible number of complaints that the mattresses used in the hotel were “rock hard”. So those who like softer mattresses may be disappointed.
