Maywood Hotel (Istanbul, Turkey)

No matter what time your flight might come in, Maywood is happy to provide pick up services so you don’t need to worry about transportation. Even if your flight is very late at night, they provide complimentary pick up for you.

The location is one of the best things about this hotel. Within ten minutes are all major old city sights, including Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, and Hagia Sophia.

Staff members make sure each and every one of your requests is met with a smile. Whether you need directions, a taxi, or reservations at a restaurant, they are always willing to help you with whatever you need.

While breakfast is delicious, the dining area itself isn’t that great. It has a few rough spots throughout, and it might be a little unappealing when you first walk in.

If you’re coming to Istanbul for a hotel with a view, you won’t find it here. The rooms don’t provide much of a view of anything, which might be a deal breaker for some.

Though the bathrooms are very nice and modern, you might be disappointed that they don’t have a separate shower. This small annoyance can be a pretty big inconvenience.
