Lindos Royal provided a relaxing beach vacation for many. Guests loved the large terraces overlooking the two swimming pools and private bay, and strongly urged potential guests to book a sea view room. All public areas were found to be well maintained, and taking in the fantastic views was even more pleasurable while sitting amongst attractive grounds.
The buffet meals didn't disappoint. Guests said that food was one of the best features of this hotel, and appetites were usually satisfied across the board. In between meals, guests were also well looked after, and enjoyed Greek specialities hot off the grill, as well as food like burgers and chips.
Younger guests didn't run out of things to do here, and many parents said that the hotel had great facilities to keep little ones entertained. Between the multiple swimming pools, waterslides, entertainment, and a great beach, it was safe to say that kids went to bed tired at the end of the day.
Several guests commented on unpleasant odours emitting from open drains. This was the case in certain bathrooms and in some public areas. Hopefully the hotel will keep guest feedback in mind, but until then, some were left plugging their noses.
Guests reported a variety of items that were in need of repair, with the main one being air-conditioning units. Inefficient air-conditioning was a real problem in the height of summer, and a few were bothered by dripping or noisy units, too.
If you only speak English, you might have problems conversing with staff at Lindos Royal. In addition to hotel staff lacking English skills, signage and entertainment catered to French and Italian speakers exclusively.
