This family business dates back to the 16th century and it is located in Borredà, in the Catalan Pyrenees, in front of the city hall and the historical Santa Maria church, from the 9th century. The rooms in Cal Bardolet combine the traditional stone walls and the historical artworks with a contemporary lighting and high-tech details. Bardolet is located in a beautiful traditional wooden and stone building with a garden, a view to the mountains and an original decoration. In the dining room, there are charming chandeliers, dark solid wooden furniture and decorative tiles. In the nearby field one can enjoy promenading, fishing or practicing extreme sports. This area is also famous for its cuisine: fresh meat, botifarra (traditional sausage) and calçots (a kind of spring onion) are included in its specialities.
