By far, the finest redeeming aspect of this locale is the staff. Friendly and charming from arrival to departure. They make do with what they've got to provide you with the best stay possible. They'll jump at the chance to fix anything they can, offer flexibility on your terms and schedule - and don't be surprised if they remember you by name! Although some have expressed dissatisfaction with this team, the majority left glowing recommendations.
Just across the street from the beach and pier, this is a spectacular spot. Quiet (for the most part) with free parking. Adjacent to restaurants, bars and plenty of shopping. Has its own little beach area in back (as well as a pool) for those who prefer a more private setting for sunbathing.
Good bang for the buck. Most felt their rooms were adequate for the price, which includes free breakfast, decent air conditioning, and standard features. Televisions work, microwaves and mini-fridges are handy and there's even a bottle opener attached to the bathroom fixture. You'll pay significantly lower here than you'd pay for other establishments - especially those directly on the beach.
Some felt their rooms were too small and greatly in need of a scrub. Old-fashioned amenities were not to their liking. Thin blankets and curtains, uncomfortable beds, dogs barking in nearby homes, and cigarette/marijuana smoke wafting through. Pillows are half the size expected and toilets flush poorly. Bathroom doors may not close all the way. Pictures are noticeably missing from the walls and a fresh paint job is in order.
Don't count on getting Wi-Fi here; some couldn't connect whatsoever during their stay.
