Golfing enthusiasts really enjoyed their stay at this hotel. The hotel is located right by a golf course, which is part of the Phuket Country Club, and there are other courses within easy driving distance as well. The hotel is also convenient for shopping and other activities said some guests.

The Par Phuket is far from town and is also far from the beaches. Many guests, especially those that had no interest in golf, felt that the location was too out of the way for most attractions and involved hiring a taxi. Also, the golf is expensive said guests.
Several guests pointed out that the rooms and bathrooms were not as clean as they should be and some even complained of a smell from the bathrooms. The pool doesn't appear to have a very efficient filtration/chlorination system either said a few guests.
Some of the staff had poor English and as such communication was a problem for some guests. English guests were dissatisfied with the breakfast. Some guest were of the view that the hotel was more suitable for very short stays and bulk/group bookings.
