Ten minutes' stroll reaches the beach, and nearby Trebarwith Strand offers world-renowned surfing. Dog-friendly with excellent food and a charming bar. A Few Foibles
You may find your room pleasing for the most part, but some are too dimly lit and in dire need of a good scrub. Others are quite small - ask about square footage at time of booking. Unless you enjoy bringing the outdoors in, do remember to close your windows prior to stepping out or falling asleep. Grasshoppers and other critters may creep in otherwise.

Although the Wi-Fi is supposed to be free throughout the premises, it is only functional in the common areas. Mobile telephone signals are troublesome in the rooms as well.

Busy Summer Wisdom
If you visit during the warmer months, take note: Trebarwith Strand is a popular surfers' (and swimmers') paradise, which attracts large crowds in agreeable weather. Rather than attempt to drive down, take a stroll in and leave your car parked at the hotel. Otherwise, you may end up stuck in frustrating traffic for unnecessarily long periods of time.
