Hotel The Maverick Resort (Ormond Beach, USA)

The hotel arranges various activities for adults and children during the week. Within a 10-minute drive families can reach the Boardwalk Amusement Area and Pier and the Daytona Lagoon Waterpark. Fire House Park and the Andy Romano Beachfront Park are 15-minutes' walk away.

All rooms include a private balcony with a table and chairs that overlooks the beach. The rooms are simply furnished, comfortable, convenient and generally clean The kitchenette is equipped with all the necessary equipment you need to prepare a meal which you can then enjoy on the balcony.

The staff have been described as friendly, helpful and approachable. The lobby and grounds are well presented and diligently tended to by staff.

While most guests were satisfied with the standard of cleanliness provided, reports have also been made about areas which need attention. Some guests reported that the floors were stained and dirty, and recommended that guests wear shoes in all areas.

The interior of the hotel including the guest rooms and common areas are outdated. In some areas paint was found to be peeling off the walls. Guests also described the furnishings as old and in need of replacement. The mattresses were found to be old and uncomfortable. Bed sheets were found to be worn and some had holes in them.

Some guests reported that the common areas as well as some of the rooms smell intensely of stale cigarette smoke.
