Negative Reviews
negative:
Run-down and musty
Despite the mostly favourable reviews regarding the hotel's decor, a high number of guests were not as enchanted, describing the hotel as run-down and in a state of disrepair. Some guests found that the fixtures in their bathroom were broken or rusted and that bathrooms have often been dirty and sometimes smelling of mold or urine.
negative:
Small room without a view
The hotel offers different categories of rooms. The most inexpensive rooms are windowless and some guests were disappointed by their lack of view as well as the small size of these rooms. Some guests were also disappointed by the lack of amenities such as tea and coffee making facilities when many expect in a 4-star rated hotel.
negative:
Mediocre dining experience
Some guests commented that the breakfast offering was poor with very limited choices provided. Some guests also advised that it's best to explore what the city has to offer in the way of dining experiences, as the on site restaurant is expensive and offers mediocre dishes which are not always freshly prepared.
