Great location close to many amenities.
The hotel is located in the southern-most tip of continental U.S. where there is no shortage of amenities including walk-in beaches, open cafés on the beach, pier access to snorkel, hammocks, bars by the poolside, ready access to jet skis/paddle boards/kayaks, an on-site spa, wine-tasting classes, and extremely knowledgeable concierges.
positive:
Great food and drinks.
The food and drinks here do not disappoint either. Southernmost Beach Café serves sumptuous American dishes and fresh seafood. The café is open all day long and guests can drop in for a snack or a full meal anytime they feel like. The two poolside bars serve a wide variety of cocktails and offer an a la carte lunch menu.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Too much din and noise around the pools.
One of the key attractions for South Beach right in the heart of Key West is its stunning swimming pools and, understandably, they receive plenty of visitors. Unfortunately, this also translates to plenty of noise as well.
negative:
Room walls not adequately sound-proofed.
A few guests reported that some of the hotel's rooms have paper-thin walls with inadequate sound-proofing. Guests can clearly hear conversations in adjoining rooms.
negative:
Sudden changes in room rates.
The hotel frequently offers huge discounts which leaves guests who had booked at much higher rates feeling a bit cheated.
