positive:
Grünerløkka, Mathallen, head downtown.
Scandic Vulkan was found to occupy a lovely spot close to the Grünerløkka neighbourhood and the very popular Mathallen food hall, while guests found it easy to reach Central Station and downtown Oslo by foot or public transport.
positive:
Great breakfasts, sometimes a bit full.
The buffet breakfasts here come highly recommended, with large spread of hot and cold dishes to please all tastes and set you up for a full day’s exploring. A few guests have mentioned that the breakfast room can be quite full at times, but the efficient staff meant that this did not appear to be a problem.
positive:
Everything but a kettle.
Guests found the clean, decently-sized and modern rooms to be comfortable and the only thing that seemed to be missing was a kettle for hot drinks in the room.
