Positive Reviews
positive:
Peaceful location
Since Santosha Barbados is off the beaten path, it provides a very peaceful area in which to take a vacation. Keep in mind, however, that since the hotel is far away from the island's busier areas, it is a little harder to get around from this location.
positive:
Outstanding views
This part of Barbados offers stunning views of the ocean, according to some past guests, especially from the balconies in the hotel. Many guests have mentioned how much they loved the views of the water throughout their stay.
positive:
The friendliest staff
A number of past guests commented on how friendly the staff is at this property. They really go out of their way to ensure that you are having the perfect holiday and are willing to go above and beyond to ensure that you have everything that you need.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Can't swim in the ocean
Some past guests were disappointed that you cannot swim in the ocean at Santosha Barbados. This is because the water is quite rough and there is a strong current in the area, making a swim a dangerous proposition. There is a pool on-site, however, that guests can use.
negative:
Problems with Wi-Fi
While rare, a few guests mentioned that they had trouble with the Wi-Fi. This doesn't seem to be a prevailing issue, however, as other guests had no problem with the Wi-Fi whatsoever.
negative:
Lack of a restaurant
The property doesn't have a restaurant and there is very little within walking distance, which was an annoyance for some guests. While this wasn't enough to ruin their holiday, it did mean that they had to visit a supermarket to pick up some food.
