S'Enis is a simple though comfortable hotel tucked away in a century-old oak forest. The setting is lovely and its water and air are pure. The rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and free internet, overlook either the infinite landscape of Barbagia or the evergreen forests found on the slopes of Mount Corrasi. Behind the main building, an equipped camping area welcomes those who prefer to sleep under the stars. Pure and refreshing mineral water is available from a nearby karst spring. Nestled in the greenery is "Su Pinnettu", the traditional round shepherds hut, which has been converted into a relaxation area, where aromatherapic massages and the natural essences of Mount Maccione will make you touch the sky with a finger. S'Enis - which was rebuilt by the Cooperative of Oliena men and women on the ruins of an old mountain holiday camp for children - has no elevator.
