Positive Reviews
positive:
Service improvement and renovations underway
A number of past guest reviews hint that the service here was once less than friendly, but it seems that things are really improving at this basic hotel. In fact, more recent visitors note that the staff at this property are truly welcoming. Additionally, there have been some less than flattering comments regarding this hotel's overall appearance, but that too appears to be changing; indeed, recent guests have been gratified to find that much-needed renovations are underway here.
positive:
Quiet ambience and good location
Visitors really appreciated the quiet, peaceful atmosphere at this hotel, which made for a number of restful stays. Additionally, many found its location - more or less at the junction of I-71 and I-271 - to be very convenient for onward journeys.
positive:
Overall good value for money
Given the recent improvements here and decent location, many guests felt that, overall, this property represents good value for money in the area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Beds could be improved, better sheets
One of the most common gripes at this hotel had to do with its beds, which many found to be uncomfortably hard. Also, the sheets here were less than satisfactory; in fact, a number of guests were upset to find them riddled with cigarette burns and stains.
negative:
Bathrooms need TLC
There were also lots of problems in the bathrooms of individual units. Cracked toilet seats and worn, stained tubs were a particular theme at this hotel.
negative:
Breakfast a disappointment
The breakfast here - limited to coffee and sachets of instant oatmeal - was a real disappointment. More options would be greatly appreciated.
