Positive Reviews
positive:
Ultra-modern décor and design
The hotel is described as uniquely modern among Vilamoura properties. While modern design is never to absolutely everyone's taste, it seems that the vast majority really liked it. They felt like they were in very chic and trendy surroundings.
positive:
Surprisingly spacious
Guests were clearly pleasantly surprised by the size of their apartments. They were described as being more than big enough for the size of the group booking in, and the extra space gave the guests a real sense of luxury.
positive:
Many rooms with nice views
While not all the rooms faced the golf course, those allocated to rooms that did really seemed to appreciate the views. Many had booked in so that they would be conveniently close to the golf, and were very happy that they got a great view of the course right from their room window.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Somewhat poorly maintained
A couple of recent reviews mentioned that the apartments were not being very well-maintained. It was not a widespread complaint, so it was difficult to determine whether it is a problem specific to one or two apartments or a more general issue.
negative:
A bit too remote for some
A couple of guests mentioned that they would have felt a bit isolated had they not had a car. They mentioned that there wasn't all that much of interest within walking distance, and that public transport was some way away as well.
negative:
Poor communication
It was mentioned that the staff were not the best at communicating in the run up to the holiday, with guests really having to push hard in order to get replies to questions or concerns.
