This hotel in trendy Kreuzberg was conveniently a short walk from the two nearest U-Bahn stations including Kottbusser Tor, enabling hassle-free access to shopping areas, sports venues, museums and sightseeing across Berlin. Pedestrians could easily explore the vibrant neighbourhood with its canals, markets and cafes plus bars and nightlife options. Neighbouring Friedrichshain neighbourhood was also within moderate walking distance as were the World Heritage Site Museum Island and remaining sections of the Berlin Wall. Reviewers also appreciated the proximity of dining options, suapermarkets and cash machines.

Several light sleepers commented that they were able to hear occasional traffic and street noise from certain rooms.
