Positive Reviews
positive:
Promenade Location.
Situated in good proximity to the beach, stores, cafes and nightlife, this locale is a stroll away from city central, but set back from the bustle enough for a good night's sleep (usually). Luggage can be stored briefly ahead of check-in and after check-out as needed. The bar and game room are a fun atmosphere with pool tables. Free parking and a lift that reaches all levels.

Lovely Owners, Receptionists & Servers.
Booking and check-in staff are pleasant, as are the friendly and efficient reception and wait-staff. Warm welcomes will greet you, assist with directions and instructions on the hotel amenities, and lead you to your room. This staff has gone out of their way to serve their guests on many occasions, even endearingly washing, drying and folding soiled children's clothing after having simply been asked for a hose to rinse them. Outstanding!
positive:
Decent Rooms.
Spacious rooms, plenty of natural light and cosy beds. Some even have delightful sea views from the windows. Although bathrooms are somewhat small, they have all the necessary items - shower, sink and toilet. Fresh and tidy throughout.
Negative Reviews

Bathroom Misfortunes.
Some rooms have no baths, only showers (ask which yours has at booking) and others have a key to a private shower room down the hall. Top floors get low water pressure and the toilets may take a few flushes to get everything down.
negative:
Tired Decor.
Old and outdated furnishings throughout made some unhappy. Towels, bedding, curtains, dust ruffles, mouldy tiles could all use some freshening up and cleaning.

Some Staff are Rude.
Not all, just some. You'll know them when you meet them - let them know you read about them here.
