Positive Reviews
positive:
Cool location is a vote-winner
A great many visitors really appreciated this hotel's hip, energetic location. As well as a good variety of restaurants along the road on both sides, travellers liked the easy access they had to nearby shops, attractions and bars, and that there's a metro stop within walking distance with a direct connection (M2) to the airport.
positive:
Reception staff do a fine job
Friendly, informative and blessed with English-language skills that are likely to put many native English-speakers to shame; it's easy to see why so many travellers have singled out the hotel's receptionists for high praise.
positive:
Guest rooms are very spacious indeed
A significant number of guests have been pleasantly surprised by the size of the accommodations here. The massive bathrooms were considered a bonus too.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Can be noisy at times
Numerous guests have reported that street noise can be an issue in this lively neighbourhood, especially in the early hours and/or at the weekend. Unfortunately, this seems to apply to accommodations at the rear of the property just as much as it does to those that overlook the main street at the front.
negative:
Non-existent air-conditioning causes problems
It has been noted that the lack of any A/C can make sleep very hard to come by when the rooms get warm and muggy during the summer months. Sadly, opening a window isn't really an option as it tends to let in more noise than fresh air!
negative:
There's no lift
The vast majority of guests who've stayed here have been distinctly unimpressed by the absence of a lift. Suffice to say, lugging your suitcases up numerous flights of stairs is not what you need after a long journey.
