This is a non-smoking hotel
This hotel is a 100% smoke-free property which is great for those who don't smoke. It's nice to know that you don't have to worry about your room smelling like second-hand smoke which can be hard to take.

Negative Reviews
negative:
The walls and thin
If you are counting on a good night's sleep, you might want to book a corner room on a high floor that does not have a connecting door. The walls here are rather thin and bleed-through noise from your neighbor, especially through the connecting doors or places that used to have a door and are now just walled-over, could keep you up way past your bed time.
negative:
The air conditioning units are noisy
The air conditioning units in many of the guest rooms have seen better days and are quite noisy. Not only can this be annoying but in addition, sometimes the age of the units causes them not to work as well as they should. If you run into this problem, ask to be relocated to another room.
negative:
The guest rooms need an update
Although the public spaces at Le Méridian Cambridge-MIT have been undergoing renovations, the guest rooms have not. Beds that sag, bathroom fixtures in need of replacement and carpeting that has been worn out are among the worst offenders.
