Positive Reviews
positive:
Enjoy a beautiful setting next to the coast.
Inn at the Cove is located right next to the Pacific Ocean, on a stunning stretch of largely unspoiled coastline with rugged rocks and sandy shores. The hotel is perched on the cliffs looking out over the ocean but still conveniently close to the highway.
positive:
Clean and spacious rooms with a sea view.
The rooms here come complete with modern furnishings and plenty of space. You won't be able to fault the cleanliness of this hotel, and many rooms have a gorgeous view of the ocean.
positive:
Plenty of car parking space on the premises.
Being right next to Interstate 101, this hotel has made sure that it has ample parking space for people driving up the coast who need to rest for the night. What's more, you don't have to pay extra for it.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Poor selection of food at the breakfast buffet.
Unfortunately the continental breakfast served each morning lacks variety. You might be disappointed with what is on offer, but there are other restaurants close by where you can enjoy a more substantial morning meal.
negative:
Standard of rooms doesn't live up to the price.
Inn at the Cove is a three star hotel but the rooms here carry quite a hefty price tag. This is probably due to its stunning location, because the rooms and hotel facilities are not particularly special.
negative:
Access to the beach is not easy.
You can access the beach from the grounds of this hotel, however the route you have to take is a bit perilous. You have to clamber over rocks with just a handrail to hold on to. If you have children with you it is probably better to drive to nearby Avila Beach where access is safer.
