It's just 150 meters to Şişhane Metro Station and Haliç Metro Bridge. You can reach Istiklal Avenue in 5 minutes on foot. As our name suggests, we are next to the Galata Tower (350 meters). Also, if you want to go to the Boat Station and have a Bosphorus Tour, it's 10 minutes by walking, Asian Side of Istanbul and Prince Islands are beautiful too! Istanbul Old City, Sultanahmet, Spice Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Museum and all just on the other side of Galata Bridge. You can go to old city by walking or tram its about 2-3 stops!
