Positive Reviews
positive:
Perfect amenities
The pool is ideal as are the hot tubs that are perfect for relaxing in on a hot afternoon. You can even enjoy a drink by the pool as there is a waiting service. This is a real resort style pool experience that you don't find in many three-star hotels.
positive:
Ideal location right on the beach
This hotel is in the best location if you are a sand lover. The beach is literally steps from the hotel, and there are plenty of sun loungers by the pool. There are lots of things to do nearby like checking out turtles or horseback riding.
positive:
Rooms with a view
The rooms that overlook the white sands of the beach have the greatest views. You can sit on your balcony and watch the world go by while enjoying a cool drink or reading a book. Make sure to ask for an ocean view room.
Negative Reviews
negative:
In need of a refurb
This hotel is very dated and in bad need of some redecorating. The place is certainly habitable, but there are areas where it's beginning to look a little run down. Things like old furniture and peeling paint spoil what could be a perfect hotel.
negative:
Staff need customer training
The staff at the hotel can be a little defensive when confronted about maintenance issues or problems with reservations. They can be pleasant at times but on occasion some guests have found them to be a little on the rude side.
negative:
Wristband problem
The hotel asks guests to wear wristbands during peak seasons such as spring break, but some guests are quite annoyed that they must actually pay for this wristband. This is after paying the full rate for peak season.
