Guests were usually pleasantly surprised by how large the rooms are at this property, and how they were very peaceful. Both these characteristics helped guests have particularly lovely stays.

If you're specifically planning a trip to the area for shopping, this hotel is a wonderful choice. It has periodic shuttles that go from the hotel to the Galleria Mall, which means there won't be any hassles with trying to stuff your shopping bags into the trunk of your car or trying to carry your purchases across long distances.

Guests noted that the staff members are very service-oriented and they are quick to provide assistance as needed. Also, reported issues were usually solved quickly, which meant that guests didn't leave with poor impressions of the hotel due to particular problems they experienced.

There were several comments from guests that the rooms don't look up to date, although some said it looked like managers had tried to do halfhearted upgrades. However, in response to some reviews, management replied and said they plan to do a much more detailed upgrade in the future.

Occasionally, guests mentioned they have been to many other Hilton properties and this one doesn't live up to the standards showcased by those others. Usually though, this observation was not enough to make guests say they wish they hadn't stayed here.

Guests often discussed how the parking fees here are more than they would have liked to pay. Also, the lot is across the street from the hotel, and some guests didn't like to have to deal with the distance, especially when they had luggage.
