HF Fénix Music impressed guests with ultra modern, quirky decor that was far from your average hotel room. Guests would return again for the unique and innovative ambiance, and for the too-good-to-be-true beds and powerful shower.
Breakfast was a highlight for many. Guests enthusiastically ate second portions of the buffet offerings, including an astounding variety of hot and cold delights. Freshly squeezed juice, a pancake maker, deluxe coffee machine and even pizza, set guests up for a day of sightseeing.
Guests were able to walk to the centre of Lisbon in about 30 minutes, and loved the proximity to transport hubs. Restaurants were a little farther away, but at ten minutes or less on foot, most guests were happy to walk.
Many guests were left feeling awkward in the bathroom. One door is available for both the shower and toilet, which could be uncomfortable for friends travelling together. Modest couples were also confused with the strange layout that detracted from an otherwise fantastic room.
While the majority of guests felt that the rooftop pool and terrace was a major asset to the hotel, they were often disappointed that the swimming pool was unheated. When the weather is cooler, a swim might not be in the cards.
Some guests felt that rooms could go from great to awesome with a few minor changes. A minibar was noticeably missing for a few, and several guests pointed out the lack of tea and coffee making facilities. And while the private terrace belonging to some rooms had fabulous views, there were no chairs available to enjoy it.
