The accommodation is great but the full value is apparent when, for instance, the location of shops, convenience stores and restaurants is also taken into account. A real 'plus' for self-caters.

Quite often, our love of animals wears thin when you follow pet owners into a hotel room - and well, it's not coffee that you smell! Here, though, they seem to have found the solution, somehow. Pets are welcome but there's no after smell for incoming guests.

Housekeeping here is spot on ... well, there are no spots on anything! The equipped kitchenette area means you can relax 'at home' and save money on restaurant bills. Breakfast is really impressive and the pool is large and a a source of endless fun for everyone.

The breakfast room is small, given the number of guests that it needs to accommodate. The meal itself is fraught with operational errors as instanced by cold 'hot' dishes and a distinct lack of coffee pots. In a hotel with many strong points, breakfast is a weak link in the chain.

The fully equipped description of the kitchenette needs some reappraisal. There are lots of things missing here, necessitating either a costly shopping expedition, or a restaurant visit. Either way, the self catering concept becomes like your baking efforts here ... disappointing, a bit of a let down and flat!

The housekeeping schedule falls down when, during days over the course of the weekend, cleaning doesn't take place. In the same vein, beds and pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable and towels are small, rough to the touch and obviously of the cheapest quality.
