Positive Reviews
positive:
Great customer service.
The lady who runs The Diplomat Inn is a real sweetheart, full of warm compliments and friendly chit-chat. She's also a trooper who's always prepared to go 'above and beyond' to ensure those staying here have a nice time. The guy who cleans the rooms is a really cheerful and friendly character too.
positive:
Showers are really strong.
The pressure of the showers within the en-suite bathrooms is very impressive indeed. If you're visiting during the winter then you'll definitely appreciate five minutes underneath one of these bad boys!
positive:
Location is convenient.
With nearly all of Niagara's key attractions within a four or five block radius, it's never a struggle to see all that the area has to offer when you're based at The Diplomat. The shuttle service is pretty handy too.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Parking is quite limited.
On-site parking opportunities can be few and far between here at times so be warned: you may have to find some on-street parking away from the immediate vicinity of the hotel during busy periods.
negative:
Wi-Fi isn't the best.
Many guests have noted that the complementary Wi-Fi doesn't allow you to log-in all the time, even when there is a decent signal. Needless to say, this can be quite irritating, especially if you're someone for whom being online is important.
negative:
Some accommodations look a little tired.
A fair number of the guest accommodations have aspects within them -- such as the carpeting - which let them down somewhat. This is a shame as the units themselves are generally quite spacious and pleasant.
