City Hostel Pest is a student dormitory and works as a hostel during summertime in July and August. We offer only private rooms with shared or private bathroom on a very reasonable price in the center of Budapest It is situated in the famous Ráday street, which is in the middle of the entertainment zone. The street is full of cafés, bars and restaurants. The Grand Boulevard, the river Danube or the famous Váci utca are in just a short walking distance. Public transport facilities (run at night as well) can be also accessible in a couple of minutes on foot! Children policy Children under 3 years can stay free if no extra bed (except baby bed) is needed, otherwise or above 3 years all children should be considered as adult and pay full price. How to get there From the airport: You can use our pick-up service for EUR 28 / car (max. 4 people / car, flight details should be provided minimum one day earlier) or take a taxi or the airport minibus. By public transport from the airport: Get on bus nr. 200E in front of the terminal and get off at the endstation (Kőbánya-Kispest). Take the metro to Corvin negyed, then tram no. 4 or 6 (in direction of Móricz Zsigmond körtér or Újbuda központ) to Mester utca (1 stop). Walk in direction of the river and turn right at Ráday utca. Walk straight ahead 2-300 metres. Alternative: From Kőbánya-Kispest take the metro to Kálvin tér, then walk 800 metres through Ráday utca. From Nyugati railway station: Take tram 4 or 6 to Mester utca (in direction of Petőfi híd or Újbuda központ or Móricz Zsigmond körtér). Walk in direction of the river and turn right at Ráday utca. Walk straight ahead 2-300 metres. Alternative: Take metro to Kálvin tér, then walk 800 metres through Ráday utca. From Keleti railway station: Take M2 metro to Blaha Lujza tér (1 stop), then change for tram 4 or 6 to Mester utca (in direction of Petőfi híd or Újbuda központ or Móricz Zsigmond körtér). Walk in direction of the river and turn right at Ráday utca. Walk straight ahead 2-300 metres. Alternative: Take M4 metro to Kálvin tér and walk through Ráday utca to the hostel (approx. 800 metres). From Déli railway station: Take the metro (M2) to Blaha Lujza tér, then change for tram 4 or 6 to Mester utca (in direction of Petőfi híd or Újbuda központ or Móricz Zsigmond körtér). Walk in direction of the river and turn right at Ráday utca. Walk straight ahead 2-300 metres. From Népliget bus station: Take the metro to Corvin negyed (in direction of Újpest központ), then tram no. 4 or 6 (in direction of Móricz Zsigmond körtér or Újbuda központ) to Mester utca (1 stop).
