The staff and the locals add to the charm of the hotel by being super friendly and always willing to chat. You’ll have a lot of fun at this hotel and visiting the surrounding area. There's lots to see and do so that you won’t feel bored at all.
The food on offer in the bar and restaurant is really tasty and superb value for money. There are no complaints about the variety or quality of the dishes and the cooked breakfast each morning is a perfect start to the day.
The hot water may or may not work depending on the time of day and nobody is quite sure why. It also seems that the showers are more than a little dated which is probably in keeping with the décor of the hotel.
The hotel is old world style at its best, but that shouldn’t stop the owners from giving the whole place a lick of paint. The rooms and bathrooms could be updated although they are quite comfy. Overall it’s good but the cracks and peeling paint spoil it.
Even in the reception area the Wi-Fi signal is quite bad so don’t expect to use your laptop in the room during your stay. Not a big complaint but if you need to work you should be aware of this.
