The 3-star stone-built Chapel Cottage, which is over 300 years old, offers a high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation in Chapel-en-le-Frith. The rooms are very well furnished and the thoughtfully equipped double bedroom therefore offers guests in en-suite shower room, a separate private sitting room for your personal use and your own front door. The bedroom, bathroom and lounge were all newly and tastefully renovated in 2007 to a very high standard. Staff at Chapel Cottage are very accommodating and do their best to cater for your needs. To set you up for a day's walking or cycling in the peaks included in your room price is a generous full cooked breakfast, plus yoghurts, fresh fruit and cereals. For your evening meals Chapel Village has a variety of local restaurants offering a range of cuisines to suit your tastes or if you wish you can bring a takeaway back to the B & B. Where possible a sandwich can be provided to take with you as it's hard to find food in the middle of the hills. Walkers and cyclists will particularly enjoy the location as we could not be much closer to the Peak District. There is easy access to the paths and trails, plus secure storage can be offered for your equipment, added to which the facilities to clean and maintain your bike after a long tough day can be provided. The separate entrance to the guest room makes it easy for you to come and go as you please, which is ideal for those rainy days when you want to return early to warm up. There are many attractions within easy reach of Chapel Cottage B & B, including Chatsworth House, which has beautiful grounds, farm shop and garden center. Haddon Hall which is situated near Bakewell, Lyme Park which is famous for its appearance in Pride and Prejudice, in fact all beautiful houses have been used for period plays on the television.
