Hotel Best Sol D´Or (Salou, Spain)

Previous guests speak well of the kind and consistent helpful service rendered by the staff from the front desk personnel to the housekeeping team. They made all the guests feel relaxed by offering warm greetings and catering to all their needs.

The hotel has close proximity to the beach, promenade, bus stops, bars, and restaurants, enabling guests to enjoy roaming within the area by foot. It is also closely situated to bus stations travelling to Barcelona Airport and Tarragona. Furthermore, the property can be reached within a short walking distance from the city centre and other major establishments.

Rooms are spotlessly clean and well-maintained upon guests' arrival! Guests were also very pleased with the helpful and hardworking service of the cleaning staff who managed to clean the rooms every day, and replace the towels regularly.

Most of the negative reviews were from guests who had difficulty getting some proper sleep due to the loud music coming from the pool and entertainment area, especially during wee hours. The “Karaoke” music and loud dancing from the stage were loud and disturbing so guests are advised to wear earplugs for comfort.

Due to limited options for breakfast and poor quality of food served, most guests were disappointed. Most of the food served were undercooked and not freshly prepared. The restaurant area was also noisy and crowded so most guests had difficulty enjoying their breakfast.

Guests were unimpressed with the small size of the swimming pool area. The size was not sufficient to the overall number of guests. Moreover, the depth was also not enough for guests who prefer to exercise or do lap swimming.
