The main building is built in the early years of 1900. It´s carefully renovated 2016 to a small "family guest house" with 5 double/twin rooms with shared bathrooms breakfast is included. The old house has a great charm, its rustic, it has great wiews in all directions. The lokals say that "the sun is always shining on Helluland" it´s placed in a slope down to the river of Heradsvötn, with it´s face to the west. It´s about 360 ha of land, really good walking paths and there is Icelandic horses with their foals grazing free on the large land in summertime. It´s 6-8 minutes drive with car from Saudarkrokur town. If you love a charming old house, great nature, away from "citylife", birds, horses and a warmth welcome, this is it!
