About The Red Lion Inn

The Red Lion Inn is situated in the quiet village of Partney and is over 400 years old. It has been sympathetically refurbished to offer modern comforts while retaining plenty of original features. The owner bought it in 2006 and runs it herself with the help of a close knit, extremely friendly team of staff and an even friendlier German Shepherd, who likes to be part of the welcoming party. If you are not keen on dogs, however, do not worry, she can be easily confined to barracks and you won't even know she is here. There is an eclectic mix of furniture and the atmosphere throughout is friendly, cosy and casual. The Inn consists of 5 guest rooms. There are 3 standard rooms on the first floor and 2 superior rooms on the ground floor. The superior rooms are to the rear of the main building and open out onto the gravelled garden. All the rooms have ensuite showers, desks, hospitality trays, towels and bed linen, hairdryers, choice of synthetic or feather pillows, books, magazines and books on local history, The Restaurant serves good quality country kitchen style food, all of which is completely homemade using, where possible, locally sourced ingredients.
