Guests were pleased to report that they did not need to rely on their cars during their stay as many places of interest were within walking distance. Many said that it was an easy and manageable walk into the centre of Solvang with its many shops, bars and restaurants.
Many said the rooms are tastefully decorated and looked like they had recently been refurbished. The bathrooms were also said to be well-presented with modern fixtures and fittings. Guests complimented the overall hygiene levels stating that their rooms were kept clean and tidy for the duration of their stay.

The standard-type en-suites have been described as being quite compact with guests objecting to having very little room to move around as well as not having enough storage space. The bathrooms were also said to be rather tight.
The choice on offer at breakfast was said to be rather limited according to some of the guests while others said that due to too few tables they often had to wait in order to be seated or had to take their meals out into the garden. The breakfasts are served from 8 am which inconvenienced some guests who needed to make an early start.
