Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent location near the beach
The location of this complex has proved to be one of the property's highlights. Guests have appreciated the proximity to the beach and the relative seclusion of the immediate area. Guests also find that area attractions, as well as Tampa and Fort Myers, are within easy reach.
positive:
Friendly and helpful staff and management
The staff and management here attract plenty of positive feedback among reviews of the property. Guests feel very welcome and have been impressed by the friendly and attentive nature of the service. Guests have felt that nothing is too much trouble for the staff here.
positive:
Good value for money
Overall, guests feel that they have enjoyed good value for money here. There's no breakfast on offer and a slight niggle about cleaning charges but the nightly rates are still considered to offer good value as a result of good quality suites and cottages, a great location, and impressive hospitality.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No housekeeping services
Guests have been a little disappointed by the lack of housekeeping services at this property. The onus is, of course, on a self-catering stay but even so, guests would prefer the convenience of daily housekeeping. Everything, including taking out the trash, is the responsibility of guests.
negative:
Cleaning fee
This complex charges a one-off cleaning fee for all stays. Perhaps unsurprisingly, guests have questioned this fee, particularly because no housekeeping services are offered and because guests are asked to do a fair amount of cleaning themselves before check-out.
negative:
Some noise concerns
Although this complex is typically described as fairly secluded, it appears that the relative seclusion is not enough to avoid noise concerns entirely. Guests have occasionally found the surroundings a little noisy, particularly at night.
