About Gosforth Hall Inn
Gosforth Hall Inn - a place where they warmly welcome you as strangers, hoping you leave as friends. The hosts are bringing back the beauty of the once stately Gosforth Hall. After being closed for refurbishment for 18 months, the newly refurbished bedrooms in the 350 year old hall are now available for bookings. Each room is unique with a number of features now enhanced to show the true beauty of a building built in 1658. The refurbishments of the bedrooms and bathrooms in the Hall display the high quality workmanship in West Cumbria. The moment you walk through the door you will be greeted with a warm welcome and what is reputed to be the widest spanning sandstone hearth in England. The Annex, built in 2011, offers 8 en-suite bedrooms, a 2 en-suite bedroom apartment and 3 en-suite bedroom apartment. Each offer a super king size bed which converts to a twin and walk in wet rooms. Scafell Pike and Wastwater (voted best view in Britain) can be found just up the valley. If you're looking for that somewhere special for someone special with a relaxed pub atmosphere, this is the place.
