Many family names originate from the specific work made over the centuries by people of those families. 'Follador were those who cultivated some agricultural products and converted them into consumption goods. In the dialect of Veneto 'follare l'uva' still means to press grapes in order to make wine. Many generations of Follador have been doing this kind of work in the hills of Valdobbiadene. I, Vittorio Follador with my family, am one of them and I'm continuing this old tradition still today. Follo is an agricultural village in the municipality of Valdobbiadene situated on the slope of the famous Cartizze's hill. Here is based our farm and our finest vineyards like Villa Luigia. This ancient village of winemaking tradition also expresses the history and culture of this land, for this since 2002 and was taken as a mark of our company.
